CellMosaic’s maleimide activated Streptavidin ML is designed for direct conjugation of any biopolymer or small molecule containing free sulfhydryl groups for use in biotin-streptavidin based assay. Streptavidin has been modified with BMPS (N-(β-maleimidopropyloxy) succinimide ester) to attach 2-4 maleimide groups per streptavidin molecule.
- Suitable for loading thiol biopolymers or small molecules onto streptavidin (solution or immobilized) for assay
- Easy to adjust the loading of biopolymers or small molecules based on the amount added for optimal signal
Key Features of this Maleimide Activated Streptavidin
- Lyophilized powder and ready for conjugation reaction after reconstitution with water, no need for external buffer
- Medium loading with 2-4 average maleimide groups per streptavidin
