Maleimide Activated KLH HL

Product Description

 This is a replacement product for CM52106.

CellMosaic’s maleimide activated KLH (Hemocyanin from Megathura crenulata) HL is designed for direct conjugation of KLH with proteins, peptides, or other ligands containing free sulfhydryl groups for use in immunization. This product consists of a highly loaded KLH that has been modified with EMCS (N-(Ɛ-maleimidocaproyloxy) succinimide ester) to attach 50−150 maleimide groups per BSA molecule.

This product replaces previously developed maleimide activated KLH HL (Part No: CM52106) and incorporate a slightly longer linker and more suitable for immunization. The product is also more stable for labeling reactions. 

Application

• Suitable for loading large number of Cys peptides and other hydrophilic thiol antigens onto KLG for antibody production.
