Product Description

Keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) is used extensively as a carrier protein in the production of antibodies. Low molecular weight haptens such as peptides, small proteins and drug molecules are conjugated to the KLH routinely at CellMosaic.

  • Chemistry:  Peptides/proteins are loaded onto KLH (keyhole limpet hemocyanin) through its surface amines.
  • Specification: A pool of heterogeneous products.
  • Procedure:  After a buffer exchange (if necessary), labeling of KLH using NHS ester-maleimide or other suitable heterobifunctional crosslinkers followed by gel filtration to remove excess crosslinking reagents. Then conjugation of peptide/protein to labeled KLH and gel filtration. Finally concentration determination and gel electrophoresis analysis of the peptide/protein-KLH conjugates.
  • Price: please contact us for a quote.
  • Starting materials: Please check biopolymer for ordering information.
  • Discount: 15 % discount price applies to additional conjugates ordered at the same time.
