- Chemistry: KLH (keyhole limpet hemocyanin) is first activated with an NHS ester-maleimide heterobifunctional crosslinker, and then reacted with a terminal Cys containing peptide.
- Specification: A pool of heterogeneous products.
- Procedure: After a buffer exchange (if necessary), labeling of KLH using NHS ester-maleimide followed by gel filtration to remove excess crosslinking reagents.Then conjugation of peptide to labeled KLH and gel filtration. Finally concentration determination and gel electrophoresis analysis of the peptide-KLH conjugates.
