CellMosaic is a biotech company located in Woburn, MA. CellMosaic provides bioconjugation-based products and services for the pharmaceutical industry, diagnostic companies, and academic researchers. CellMosaic is also developing proprietary AqueaTether' bioconjugation reagents, platform technologies for bioconjugate drugs, and drug delivery carriers. We are looking to hire a full-time Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Standard laboratory work in chemistry and biology, such as buffer preparation, gel electrophoresis, bioconjugation, HPLC analysis and purification, UV spectroscopy, and MS analysis.
  • Execute standard operating procedure (SOP) documents for established and validated methods at CellMosaic; batch record creation using SOP and characterization data; control and issue documents for protocols.
  • Purchasing - identify vendors for incoming materials and establish accounts; assist other staff members requesting quotes and order chemicals, reagents, supplies, and parts as necessary; maintain the chemical inventory using a database; maintain vendor files.
  • New MSDS and SOP creation using the CellMosaic template; label creation & printing, packaging, and shipment products on a need basis.

First two items will be about 60% of the responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in chemistry, biochemistry, biological sciences, or a related field with 1-3 years of applicable experience in an industrial/academic laboratory setting.
  • Related experience in instrumentation and laboratory work is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge and interest in computer, peripherals, and software. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
