CellMosaic is a biotech company located in Woburn, MA. CellMosaic provides bioconjugation-based products and services for the pharmaceutical industry, diagnostic companies, and academic researchers. CellMosaic is also developing proprietary AqueaTether' bioconjugation reagents, platform technologies for bioconjugate drugs, and drug delivery carriers. We are looking to hire a full-time Lab Technical Assistant in the biotechnology area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sample Analysis: Sample preparation, analysis, and data processing for HPLC, NMR, and Mass Spectrometry following established procedures.
  • Buffer, Kit, and Consumable Preparation: Prepare buffers and reagents and assemble kits for CellMosaic products, service projects, and research needs.
  • Instrumentation & Lab Maintenance: Provide support and assistance in laboratory preparation and set-up; perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment, ensuring equipment is in good working order and manuals/consumables/parts for equipment are well stocked and organized and inventory controlled. Hands-on training and support will be provided for maintenance of instrumentation.
  • Maintain laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment inventory using a database; maintain laboratory organization.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Knowledge of chemistry and biological sciences acquired through a Bachelor of Science (BS) program, or a vocational or technical school, or successful completion of a certified program of up to two years duration in applied laboratory methods and procedures, or equivalent.
  • Related experience in instrumentation and lab management/organization is a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
