Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide is the major metabolite of curcumin, which is the major component of turmeric, a yellow-orange pigment used extensively in traditional Indian cooking and Ayurvedic herbal remedies. Curcumin has a wide range of biological and pharmacological activities, including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer effects. Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide is not very stable in aqueous solution and is very difficult to obtain as a high purity product. CellMosaic’s Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide is a high purity product that can serve as a standard for LC-MS/MS analysis (see citations from customer).
Application:
-
Standard for LC-MS/MS analysis of the metabolite.
