CellMosaic immobilizes biopolymers or small molecules on a solid support, such as agarose, dextran gels, glass beads/plates, and resins/beads bearing amine, carboxyl, hydroxyl, aminooxy, hydrazine, thiol, keto, or aldehyde functional groups. The diagram on the right shows a typical solid-supported molecule with biopolymers or small molecules (M2) attached to the solid support (M1) through a linker (L). Multiple molecules (n) can be attached to the solid support.
